Any Unschoolers ? 12th International Rethinking Education Conference

Our entire Family attended an Incredible Unschool conference last weekend. This was our 1st time attending and we are not going to miss another one.There were families from all over the country and beyond. There were a few families of color that attended. Thanks, for the warm welcome, you seem to have a very warm and beatutiful family. I am rather new to the home educating community and sometimes feel overwhelmed. I'm looking for some informative suggestions. I noticed you mentioned you Unschool, I just wanted to know if you would share some of your ideas. When and why did you consider unschooling was the right choice for your children. Do you work daily from a schedule or use any particular curriculum? Thanks again!

That rain was terrible, we were on our way out to run an errand and boom it started pouring and my 6 year old said "mommy the flood is coming" we laughed and watched the storm. It gave us a mini chance to learn about precipitation so it all worked out. Thank God For homeschooling.

no, thank you for joining :-) I am just so happy to find other African American families in the ares homeschooling. I felt alone. I have a friend that homeschools that is korean and another Caucasian but I wanted to meet some black people you know what I mean...LOL :-)
